Use only suitable heat-sealable plastic packaging. Flatten the opening, keep the sealing area clean and dry, and test a spare edge first. Bag material and thickness affect results; this is not a vacuum sealer and is not suitable for every bag.

Prepare a clean, flat bag opening, operate the sealer as directed and guide it across the edge at a steady pace. Check the seal before putting the bag away, and adjust your technique to the packaging. Keep fingers clear of the heated area and cutter.
